Brisbane Project builders are aware that it is often difficult to know where to start with your new building project. Whether it is a new build, deck, renovation, house raising, or a simple block wall or concreting project it is difficult to know how to proceed, or even getting started.
To help with your decision making Brisbane Project Builders have put together the following five tips to get you started.
Please remember that we are only an email or phone call away to provide additional, obligation free advice.
Think about what you want. Things become easier when you know what it is you want. Look at pictures on our website and from other sources and even take photos of finishes you find desirable. The more you give us the easier it is to draft plans and get the right materials for your project.
Set a budget. When considering a new project whether it be a renovation, extension, adding a deck or carport budget is a key consideration. Sometimes your dream project may just not be achievable with your budget, but don’t let this deter you! The Brisbane Project Builders team have years of experience and will work with you to find a solution that best fits your budget.
Consider your time frame. Does your project have a deadline? The process of quoting, drafting plans and obtaining certification can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months (worse case). Keep this is mind when planning a project, the sooner you let us know what you have planned and the time frame the better chances of us being able to achieve it for you.
The materials. Brisbane Project Builders won’t put our name to something we don’t trust or believe in. We only use quality products that have proven over the years to stand the test of time. This is our way of ensuring your project will last and isn’t just a “quick fix”. While this isn’t the cheapest solution we can guarantee you the finished product will be of a high standard.
Energy efficency. At Brisbane Project Builders we aim to complete all our projects to a 6.5 star energy equivalent rating. Considering proper tinting, insulation and ventilation is important to us to keep you comfortable and keep the heating and cooling bills down. Poor energy efficient design can cost a lot of money in the long run, for more information check out House of Stars.
